With most plants grown in your Oliver smart planter, you'll usually see the first sprouts within 3 to 5 days.
Yes, really.
Fill the reservoir once, and a few days later you may find yourself checking on your basil more often than your social media.
Why do some plants sprout faster than others?
Every plant grows at its own pace.
Some jump straight into life. Others prefer to take their time.
As a general rule:
- common herbs, such as basil or chives, germinate quickly
- fruiting plants, such as chilli peppers, take longer to sprout and mature
Why has growth slowed down after sprouting?
After germination, a plant often focuses on developing its root system first.
In other words, while it may look as though "nothing is happening" above the surface, plenty is going on underneath.
A temporary slowdown in visible growth is completely normal. It doesn't mean there's anything wrong with your plant—or with Oliver.
Your plant is simply building strong foundations first.
